Mission

The mission of the National Node of Belarus is to summarize all information on the biological diversity of Belarus. The National Node works in three directions:

  1. Cooperation of efforts of all organizations and specialists involved in the study of biological diversity of Belarus;
  2. Accumulation of data on the biodiversity of Belarus by zoological collections, herbariums, museums of Belarus and abroad;
  3. Accumulation of all published information on biological diversity of Belarus

Funding

Financing provided by the Scientific and Practical Center for Bioresources of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

History

The Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences has appointed the Scientific and Practical Center for Bioresources as responsible for ensuring the activities of the National Node. The structure of the node is currently being developed.
