Description

Game observations is part of the Danish Hunters' Association's population monitoring project, aimed at monitoring the populations of Danish game species.

The data is collected by hunters and included observations of mammals as well as a few bird species. This dataset contains random observations, that aren't collected through the use systematic counts on transects. All location data has been blurred to ensure the privacy of hunters and their hunting grounds, but the exact locations are available for researchers on request.

The data can be used freely if cited appropriately. We would appreciate receiving copies of any publications using our data.

The dataset is updated annually.
