Description

On behalf of Hohe Tauern National Park and in close collaboration with the national park administrations of Kärnten, Salzburg and Tirol, the Haus der Natur maintains an database documenting animal and plant species of the Hohe Tauern region. The database contains detailed information about the distribution of animals and plants in the national park’s central zone, outer zone, and surroundings. All coordinates for gbif are rounded to two decimal places (approx. 1 km).
