This work will introduce changes that we aim to propose as a Vocabulary Enhancement to the Darwin Core standard, with a public review expected to begin on September 2025
The public review will feature:
- A Darwin Core Conceptual Model, part of a long-awaited Semantic Layer for Darwin Core.
- A Darwin Core Data Package (DwC-DP) Publishing Model, enabling the sharing of deeper, richer data than what is currently possible with a Darwin Core Archive.
